Eastern Salisbury Fire Department is holding its third annual Egg my Yard fundraiser. Let them help you surprise your kids on Easter morning with a fun egg hunt. Open to 50 homes on the eastern side of Salisbury Township. For more information and to register, visit the ESFD Facebook page.

Salisbury High School Theatre presents “THE HELLO GIRLS” March 13-16. Show times are 7 p.m. March 13-15 and 2 p.m. March 16. Tickets are available online or at the door. Get out and support these talented students; they always put on a fantastic show.

The next curriculum and technology meeting will be held 7 p.m. March 19 in the administration building. Immediately following that meeting, will be the next school board meeting.

At Salisbury Elementary School, T-shirt days will continue on Fridays. Please encourage your students to wear their shirts and show their school spirit.

Class picture day is scheduled for March 17 at the elementary school.

March 21 is yellow and blue day to recognize Down syndrome Awareness.

The National Honor Society induction ceremony will be held 7:30 p.m. March 20 at Salisbury High School. Congratulations to those students earning this honor.

There will be a blood drive held at SHS March 25.

During the week of March 31, SES will recognize Autism Awareness Week.

At the Allentown Public Library, 1210 Hamilton St., Allentown, there will be an 1980s dance party for teens (12 to 18) 2:30-3:30 p.m. March 15. Shake off your winter blues and blahs and join them for some rad tunes. No registration is required.

There are a number of programs and activities at the library including Music Mondays, Tech Tuesdays, drop in arts and crafts, restorative practice for caregivers, story time, study buddies, Lego club, drumming, goofy golf, book clubs and more. Visit allentownpl.org for more information.

Looking forward, the Salisbury Township yard waste drop-off sites will now be open from the first Monday in April through Dec. 20.

The hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.

Weeks of operation will alternate with each site.
