Kalmbach Park offers free classes and events

Classes and events scheduled

Kalmbach Park, Macungie, will offer a variety of events and classes in the coming months. Admission is free, however, registrations are needed and can be made through the park website www.kalmbachpark.com.

Upcoming classes and events include:

March 11: Easter Egg Hunt registration begins 8 a.m. on the park website

March 27: “The Road to Valley Forge — The Revolutionary War in Montgomery County.” Historical re-enactor, lecturer, Michael Jesberger will lead the program. The class is held 7-8 p.m.

April 12: Easter Egg Hunt 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the park, 200 Cotton St., Macungie.

April 15: “Civil War Battlefield Medical Practices.” The class is scheduled 7-8 p.m.

May 3: Arbor Day 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the park, 200 Cotton St., Macungie. The celebration will include planting trees to continue to improve the forests at the park. Registration soon will be available on the park site.
