The Allentown Collaborative Ministries is a multidenominational organization that serves the Allentown community through worship, outreach and mission.

The group is comprised of nearly a dozen Allentown congregations, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Union, Episcopal, UCC, etc. These worshipping communities will share in the journey of Lent.

Ash Wednesday, March 5, marked the start of Lent. Community gatherings for Midweek Lent will be noon March 19, 26, and April 2, 9 at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, 140 S. Ott St., Allentown.

These community gatherings will be informal and include soup, salad and bread.

Lenten Midweek discussion will use “We Are Family,” a curriculum written by collaborative partner Pastor Joanne Marchetto from The Barn.
