4-H Branches and Blossoms gardening club seeks new members

Any Lehigh County youth (ages 8-18 as of Jan. 1, 2025) who are interested in participating in a gardening or plant club are invited to join the Branches and Blossoms Club, which will meet 6:30-8 p.m., starting April 28.

At the first meeting, 4-H teens will lead activities to learn about the four seasons and plants that thrive in each.

The second meeting will be on June 6, due to Memorial Day.

Meetings will be at the Lehigh County Agricultural Center on Dorney Park Road, South Whitehall, where there is access to many garden spaces.

Prior experience with 4-H is not expected.

The club will include lots of fun, hands on activities related to growing conditions, gardening options, pests, tours, field trips, and speakers from the Penn State Master Gardeners.

Come see what makes 4-H the best and largest youth development program in the nation.

If your child is interested in joining, contact Kelly in the 4-H office at 610-391-9840 or kmb26@psu.edu.

Register a child for 4-H by visiting https://4h.zsuite.org/ and choosing Lehigh as the county.
