Brenda Stauffer

of Old Zionsville

Brenda Stauffer, 82, of Old Zionsville, a 20-year kidney transplant survivor, died at home with the loving care of her children following a short battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Mildred Ortt and the wife of the late Earle Stauffer for 44 years.

She loved to travel and was actively involved in many local community organizations/clubs including Old Zionsville Western District Fire Company, Mystic Chain, Wescosville Fire Company, Emmaus Fire Co #1, Mercantile, Lower Lehigh AARP and Emmaus Class of 1960.

She is survived by a sister, Doreen Raudenbush; daughters, Wanda and her husband, Dennis Bieber; Sharon and her husband, Kevin Diehl; son, Michael and his partner, Melissa Baranko; grandchildren, Warren Diehl and his fiance, Morgan Martucci, Holly (Diehl) Hoover and her husband, Justin Hoover.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Dennis Ortt.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. March 14 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. in the funeral home.
