Eleanor M. Kressley, 83, of Allentown, died unexpectedly March 2, 2025, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Gary M. Kressley Jr.

Born Nov. 6, 1941, in Mechanicsville, she was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Alice (Haldaman) Ruch.

A graduate of Whitehall High School, she was a life member of Rose Croix Chapter 235 OES and life member and past worthy matron of the former Jessie K. Berlin Memorial Chapter 492.

Her survivors include son Gary M. Kressley III and his fiancée, Vickie Kuhns of New Tripoli; daughter Lori A. Ritter and husband, Terry, of Breinigsville; brother Leonard Ruch of Coplay; sister Lottie Gessner and husband, Phillip, of Whitehall; grandchildren Amanda Wilhelm and husband, Bryan, Lauren Gruber and husband, Brandon, and Katelyn Folk and husband, Kyle; and great-grandchildren Treyson and Makenzie.

She was predeceased by her son Michael L. Kressley; daughter-in-law Karen L. Kressley; and siblings Harold, Donald, Dale, Robert, Russell, Lois, Linda, Sharon and Edna.
