The Lehigh Valley Flower Show will take place March 7-9 at Ag Hall at the Allentown Fairgrounds, 302 N. 17th St. The hours are set for 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and then 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.

Enjoy the work of many landscapers from the area, and take ideas home to your own backyard. The beauty and colors of the flower show will remind us all that spring is not far away.

There are helpful seminars and demonstrations throughout the weekend. There will also be garden and home-related vendors selling their merchandise.

Knights of Columbus is planning to hold fish bakes, set for March 14, 21 and 28 at the St. John the Baptist social hall, 3024 S. Ruch St. The snow date is April 4.

Carry-out is available. There is a cost.

All proceeds benefit the Knights of Columbus charity fund.
