Roughies Report: Catasauqua Area School District seeking short-term substitute
Catasauqua Area School District is seeking a dedicated and qualified short-term substitute teacher for high school courses in biology, botany/zoology and environmental science now through May 23.
The ideal candidate will possess an active and valid Pennsylvania instructional certification in biology or a related field, including but not limited to biology, 7-12, (preferred); general science, 7-12; or other related science certifications. Additional training or endorsement in STEM/STEAM education is a plus.
This opportunity offers a chance to work in a supportive environment with a block schedule format (three teaching blocks and one prep block) allowing for focused teaching and preparation time.
The compensation is $190 per day, and the work hours are set as 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Catasauqua Area School District has bus and van driver job opportunities available. The current starting pay is $22.54 per hour.
Training opportunities are available for individuals interested in obtaining their commercial driver’s license to operate buses. It is possible for a regular run immediately. Interested applicants must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
