Grace Lutheran Church in Macungie celebrated a 100th birthday for Mary Margaret (Dolly) Bachman Feb. 16. She was an institution in the church for years as a Sunday school teacher and an officer in the church. She is very musically inclined and arranged several pieces of music including “Beautiful Savior” which the choir sang during the celebration. Over the years, she was also the accompanist for the Municipal Opera Company and also a director for the Macungie Minstrelaires. After the service, all gathered in fellowship hall for a catered meal.
