Lehigh Township: Garden club kicks off 2025 season with meeting this month
Indianland Garden Club will begin its 71st year March 11 at Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville. Doors open 6 p.m., and the meeting begins promptly 7 p.m.
The focus for the March 11 meeting will be sustainable arrangements with Phoebe Cubberly and Nancy Reily from Nazareth Garden Club. Specimens and arrangements brought by members are to be labeled and in place by 6:50 p.m.
Park in the large parking lot behind the church. A member will let you in the door.
If you are joining for year 2025, yearly membership dues are required at your first joining meeting in 2025. The club has scheduled a variety of speakers and workshops for each meeting beginning with the meeting in March.
The April 8 workshop will continue the focus on sustainable flower arrangements. You will be making an arrangement to take home using the concepts you learned at the March meeting and flowers bought by the club.
The group looks forward to seeing current and potential new members!
