Gloria Elaine Gruver, 94, formerly of Emmaus, died March 1, 2025, at Valley Manor Nursing Home in Coopersburg. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Gruver. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Mabel (Hartman) Bittenbender.

She was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Congregational Church in Emmaus and was very active in EYA bowling. She spent most of her working career at Rodale and The Bon-Ton department store.

She is survived by children, William A. and his wife, Debbie, Keith A., Donna L. Laubach and her husband, Mark; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Leanna Reiss.

Services will be held 1 p.m. March 7 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held noon to 1 p.m. March 7 in the funeral home.
