Frank Karlovsky Jr., 78, of Walnutport, formerly of Washington Township, died Feb. 25, 2025, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton.

The beloved husband of Rennetta L. (Wielgos) Karlovsky, the couple shared 57 years of marriage.

Born in Berwyn, Cook County, Ill., he was the son of the late Frank Karlovsky Sr., and Grace H. (Jungman) Karlovsky.

He was a machinist with Western Electric in Chicago before transferring to Allentown, where he was an operating engineer.

He dedicated 39 years of service to the company.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Duane A. Karlovsky and his wife, Marci, of Walnutport, and Frank E. Karlovsky and his wife, Tracy, of Slatington; his sister, Carol Dalton of Columbia City, Ind.; grandsons Owen and Nicholas Karlovsky; and step-grandsons Tyler and Ian Trumbauer.

His memorial service will be 1 p.m. March 15 at Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5500 Route 873, Schnecksville. There will be no calling hours.
