Frances Anna Kriebel

Frances Anna Kriebel, 95, of Allentown, died peacefully Feb. 26, 2025, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Cecelia (Trinkle) Drauch.

She was the wife of the late Albert E. “Ben” Kriebel for almost 62 years.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall.

A secretary for many years, working initially at Leh’s Department Store, then moving onto Warren W. York and Co.

After retirement, she continued to work part time for Rodale until she was 83-years-old.

She lived her last 12 years at B’nai B’rith Apartments forming many cherished friendships and volunteering in any way needed.

She also volunteered at Miller-Keystone Blood Center for many years, as well.

She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her “lovable sweetheart,” grandpuppy Rupert.

Her survivors include a daughter, Nancy J. Walsh and her husband, Daniel, of Bradenton, Fla.; son-in-law Jeffrey Vogel and his fianceé, Jane, of Bushkill Township; son Jeffrey and wife, Rita, of Bethlehem; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Vogel, in 2009 and five siblings.

Donations may be made to the church memorial fund, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall, PA 18052.
