pursue externships

Taking place over winter break, Muhlenberg’s externship program allows students early in their college experience to shadow professionals often Muhlenberg alumni in order to gain exposure to specific work environments and daily work life.

Local students pursuing externships this winter include:

Allentown: Annalise Christie, pursued a ‘Dance Into Education’ externship with alum Emily Donahue ‘02, while studying dance, Shaiyan Feisal, a graduate of Parkland Senior High School, pursued an exploration of leadership and performance psychology with alumnus Tim Silvestri, Ph.D. ‘91, while studying neuroscience;

Breinigsville: Taha Mirrani, a graduate of Parkland High School, pursued an exploration of sports medicine with alum Jill Crosson, DO ‘04, while studying biology;

Orefield: Mariam Rizwan, a graduate of Parkland High School, pursued an exploration of sports medicine with alum Jill Crosson, DO ‘04, while studying at Muhlenberg; and

Schnecksville: Abigail Mann, a graduate of Parkland High School, pursued a ‘Dive into Dentistry’ with alumnus Michael A. Conrad, DDS ‘73, while studying biology and history.
