Richard C. Wertman, 82, of Allentown, died Feb. 18, 2025, at Above and Beyond at the Knights, Allentown.

He was the husband of Linda J. (Dreisbach) Wertman.

Born Dec. 15, 1942, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Marvin and Mary (Bergstresser) Wertman.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War era.

He was a computer supervisor at the former Apparel Affiliated, New York City, N.Y., for 28 years before retiring.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Donald Wertman and Kristy Miller; stepsons Bryan and John Hoffman; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

His service will be private. There will be no calling hours.
