Gladys J. Wetzel, 99, formerly of Alburtis, died Feb. 23, 2025, at Complete Care at Lehigh Center, Macungie. She was the wife of the late William C. Wetzel Jr. Born in Longswamp Township, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah (Moyer) Reese.

She was a member of Zion Lehigh Lutheran Church, Alburtis.

In her earlier years, she worked at Royal Mfg. and later was a homemaker.

She was a life member of the Breinigsville and Macungie VFWs as well as their ladies auxiliaries.

She is survived by daughters, Linda and her husband, Al Groller and Tina Eck and her companion Michael LaPudula, all of Allentown; daughter-in-law, Charlene, of Mertztown; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters. She was predeceased by her son, Larry; brothers and sisters.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 27 at Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville. A calling hour will begin 10 a.m.
