Donald R. Setzer, 86, of North Catasauqua, died Feb. 17, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Susan D. (Rissmiller) Setzer for 37 years.

Born in Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late William and Hattie (Fish) Setzer.

He served in the U.S. Marines.

He was a parishioner at Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua.

He was a real estate appraiser for Ray Geiger Real Estate for many years before working for himself.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael Dorney and wife Sunita; two daughters, Tracy Stauffer and Karen Keifer; a sister, Frances Butts; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by six siblings, Gertrude, Dorothy, Albert, Kenneth, Martin and Leroy.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
