Annabel Fogal, 87, of Slatington, died Feb. 15, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Earl G. and Dorothy R. (Swartz) Evans.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ursinus College and a master’s degree in library science from Case Western Reserve.

She served as the director of Northampton Area Public Library, coordinator of district services for Dauphin County Library System in Harrisburg, cataloging services manager at Brodart in Williamsport, cataloging director at Follett in Crystal Lake, Ill., and AV cataloging manager at BWI in Lexington, Ky. She retired in 2004.

In her retirement, she served on Slatington Public Library’s board and played the clarinet with the Parryville Band.

She is survived by a son, Timothy D. of Meriden, Conn.; a daughter, Karin L. Fogal and husband Jerry S. Underkoffler of Walnutport; and a granddaughter, Brianna R. and finance Ryan Wiesenberg of South Lyon, Mich.
