A Pennsylvania Hunter-Trapper Education class is being offered from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Upper Macungie Township Municipal Building, 8330 Schantz Road.
This free training class is required by law for all first-time hunters and trappers before they can buy a license.
Participants must pass a certification exam at the end of the class to complete this training.
All registrants for this event must be 11 years of age by Feb. 22.
No lunch is provided. Students should bring their own food and drink.

An indoor Zumba program with instructor Donna Barats will take place 6-7 p.m. Mondays Feb. 24 through March 31 in the gym at Jaindl Elementary School, 1051 Weilers Road, Breinigsville.
This six-week Zumba session is designed to improve cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, and flexibility, all while making friends and having a blast.
The Wildlands Conservancy is offering a Paws, Claws and Pizza program 5-6 p.m. March 14 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane.
Check out some of Wildland’s most rambunctious animals under the pavilion.
Vinny’s Pizzeria will be serving up hot slices of cheese pizza to all who attend.
There is a small fee to participate.

Lehigh Valley Martial Arts will be offering a self-defense class for kids ages 5 and older 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 15 at LVMA, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown.
The class will cover the basics and foundations of self-defense, how to practice, and continue learning. Although the class is free, residents must preregister to participate.
