Liberty’s swim team split its meet against Northampton on Feb. 10 when the Hurricane girls won, 105-79, and the Hurricane boys lost, 115-69.
First-place finishers for Liberty were the girls 200 medley relay team of Lilah McClarin, Leah Onia, Katie Bruno, and Audrey Bloss-Ferry (1:56.72) and the boys 200 medley relay team of Everett Collins, Adam Barlow, David Gabrielle, and John Cornish (1:41.84).
Barlow won the 200 freestyle (1:52.75) and the 100 butterfly (53.68).
Onia was first in the 200 IM (2:27.65) and the 500 free (5:52.87).
McClarin was the winner of the 50 free (27.27) and the 100 backstroke (1:05.06) for the girls team, and
Gabrielle took first place in the 50 free (21.72) and the 100 backstroke (53.61) for the boys team.
Bloss-Ferry won the 100 butterfly (1:02.00), and Bruno came in first in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.81).
The 200 free relay was won by Gabrielle, Cornish, Collins, and Barlow (1:32.30).
The Hurricanes’ swim meet against the Konkrete Kids was the last meet of the regular season before the District XI championships scheduled for Feb. 28 and March 1 at Parkland High School.
