Leesa V. Cooper, 63, of Kempton, died Feb. 15, 2025, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem.
She and her husband, Penn T. Cooper Sr., celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in May 2024.
Born in Pontiac, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Michael C. and Nancy (Cook) Kloc.
A 1979 graduate of Bryn Athyn High School, she was a member of Kempton New Church, where she volunteered, often helping with various social events.
She also spent many years as a leader for Boy Scout Troop 104, Kempton; and was a poll worker at the Lynnport voting district.
Her greatest joy was raising her family.
She valued being a mom and nana.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons P. Torrey (Kathrine) Cooper Jr. of Kempton, and Brett Ryle Cooper of New Tripoli; daughters Elizabeth Violet Cooper of Kempton and Emily Ann Cooper, fiancée of Ryan Virkutis of New Tripoli; four grandchildren; brothers David M. (Karla) Kloc of Manchester Center, Vt., and Douglas C. (Tracy) Kloc of Jamestown, Tenn.
She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Heather Fayann Cooper, who was Elizabeth’s twin sister.
A resurrection service will be held 2 p.m. March 1 at Kempton New Church, 583 Hawk Mountain Road, Kempton.
Special music will begin at 1:20 p.m.
A reception will follow her service, and all are welcome to join.
