DUI Crash

A motorist was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a two-vehicle crash in an area near Colebrook Avenue, Upper Milford Township, 12:49 a.m. Feb. 9, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist, driving a pickup truck, allegedly turned left onto Pennsylvania State Route 29, striking another vehicle, according to a news release. No one was injured, according to authorities.

DUI

A 46-year-old male, of Emmaus, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Kressler Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:07 a.m. Jan. 31, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Retail theft

A 64-year-old male, of Alburtis, was taken into custody after he allegedly removed several items, including flowers, from retailer Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Feb. 7, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The male initially took the flowers then returned to the store for two additional items, according to authorities. An investigation led troopers to his residence.

A 42-year-old female and a 59-year-old male, both of Mertztown, were taken into custody for allegedly removing 160 grocery items with a total value of $1,260.30 from retailer Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:03 p.m. Jan. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A portable folding dual lock chair was removed from retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods, 707 N. Krocks Road, Suite 101, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 7:23 p.m. Feb. 6.

A theft, described as valued at $330, occurred at retailer Ulta Beauty, 833 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, Jan. 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The theft was reported Jan. 16.

Someone removed a black TracFone, valued at $99.99, from retailer Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:25 p.m. Jan. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft from vehicle

A resident of Stonebridge Drive, Lower Macungie Township, discovered a license plate was removed from a vehicle, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Jan. 15 and the license plate was later recovered by state police in Philadelphia.

A tablet computer, valued at $499.99, was removed from a vehicle at a residence along Aster Circle, Lower Macungie Township, 1:54 p.m. Dec. 19, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft

Someone removed a 1994 Rolex watch, valued at $30,000 and a 1972 Penn State ring, valued at $250, from a location along Fresh Meadow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, sometime between Jan. 30 and Feb. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A Stihl brand chain saw, valued at $1,200; a Milwaukee brand hand sledgehammer, valued at $600; a DeWalt brand band saw, valued at $600 and a DeWalt brand welder, valued at $600, were taken from a location along Carls Hill Road, Upper Milford Township, Dec. 20, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Multiple tools, including a pole saw, valued at $2,500; a cut-n-break saw, valued at $2,500; a battery powered grease gun, valued at $300; extension cords, valued at $200; a generator, valued at $1,000; portable heaters, valued at $80; propane tanks, valued at $120; concrete tools, valued at $200; a hammer drill, valued at $200; water containers for a saw, valued at $400 and a stepladder, valued at $60, were taken from a location in the area of Little Spur and Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, between midnight Jan. 6 and 6 a.m. Jan. 7, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A resident of Woodmont Circle, Lower Macungie Township, discovered personal items were missing after ending a relationship recently, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Feb. 10.

A shopper’s credit card was taken from her purse while she was at Whole Foods, 750 N. Krocks Court, Suite 301, Lower Macungie Township, 2 p.m. Feb. 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The card was later used to purchase $2,000 in cards at an office supply retailer, according to authorities.

Harassment

A 55-year-old male, of Macungie, allegedly slapped another person during an argument at a location along Stein Way Court, Lower Macungie Township, 5:28 p.m. Jan. 28, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 19-year-old male, of Allentown, was cited for harassment after an incident at a location along Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, Jan. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Someone made vague threats in a call to Maxx Fitness, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, Feb. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Criminal trespass

A resident of East Texas Road, Lower Macungie Township, found a jacket and other items in their residence which were not theirs, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Feb. 2, according to authorities.

Criminal mischief

A car was vandalized while at a location along Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, between 9 and 10 p.m. Jan. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A driver’s side door was badly scratched while parked at a location on Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 8:15 and 11:15 p.m. Aug. 15, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A driver’s side mirror was damaged while the vehicle was parked at a location along Hunt Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 9:22 p.m. Jan. 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The damage was estimated at $150, according to authorities.

Found property

A resident of Brunner Road, Upper Milford Township, found a blue cellphone on her property, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Feb. 6 and the cellphone was removed from the property by authorities.
