Edwin G. Wendling, 80, of Emmaus, died Feb. 17, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He and his wife, Joan M. (Gruber) Wendling, celebrated 59 1/2 years of marriage together. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George W. and Edith (Hoffman) Wendling.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Emmaus and was a U.S. Navy veteran serving on the U.S.S. Shangri-La.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Cheryl Henry and her husband, Todd and Debra Leland and her husband, Bernard; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
