Anthony J. Piller Jr., 79, of Walnutport, died Feb. 7, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Judith A. (Krum) Piller for 57 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Anthony J. Sr. and Sophie (Bodish) Piller.

He was a graduate of Whitehall High School.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was last employed by Bethlehem Steel as a heavy equipment operator for 33 years, before retiring in 2003.

He was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Berlinsville.

He enjoyed collecting and restoring antique automobiles and was a member of Palmerton Pacemakers Car Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa A. Gross with Barry of Walnutport; two sisters, Carol Debus with James of Emmaus and Rita Farkas with Donald of Walnutport; and a grandson, Anthony Gross.
