Freedom’s natatorium was standing room only for the Patriots’ rivalry swim meet against Liberty on Feb. 3.

Liberty’s boys team were 104-82 winners over the Patriot boys.

Winners in order of events were the Hurricanes’ 200 medley relay team of Everett Collins, Adam Barlow, David Gabrielle, and John Cornish (1:41.64).

Freedom’s Griffin Kleinle won the 200 freestyle (2:00.62), Barlow came in first in the 200 IM (2:11.07), and Gabrielle won the 50 free (21.35).

Freedom’s Cody Smith won the diving event (348.25).

Gabrielle took first place in the 100 butterfly (51.79), and Collins was first in the 100 free (53.47).

Kleinle was the 500 free winner (5:32.16), and Liberty’s Robert Coddington came in second in the same event (5:42.30).

In the 200 free relay, Barlow, Coddington, Logan Malozi, and Collins sprinted to first place (1:38.18).

Cornish won the 100 backstroke (1:05.52), and Barlow won the 100 breaststroke (1:02.15).

Liberty won the last event of the night in the 400 free relay with Gabrielle, Malozi, Coddington, and Cornish (3:40.07).
