Rose M. Moyer, 80, of Kempton, died Feb. 8, 2025.

The loving wife of James W. Moyer, the couple celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on May 18, 2024.

Born in Breinigsville, she was the daughter of the late Alton Muth Sr. and Maude (Smith) Muth.

A 1963 graduate of Parkland High School, she last worked as a pharmacy technician for Health Spectrum Pharmacy at Lehigh Valley Hospital until retiring in 2008.

She was a member of Jacob’s Church, New Tripoli, where she established the children’s puppet ministry, often making her own puppets.

She also managed the card ministry at the church to help serve those who were sick or going through hard times.

She was a very generous and caring person and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her devoted husband, she is survived by her son, Michael D. (Suzanne) Moyer of Germansville; daughter Amy (Sean) Wright of Nicholson; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother Alton (Barbara) Muth Jr. of Alburtis; sisters Nancy Vuchak of Bowmanstown, and Gloria (Raymond) Lamp of Bernville.

She was predeceased by her sisters Shirley Carl and Madelyn Muth.

There will be a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. Feb. 14 in Jacob’s Church, 8373 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, with a visitation period from 10 a.m. until the service.

The Rev. Stanley Newton will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the church memorial fund and sent to the church address.
