Wildlands Conservancy will host a volunteer training for its “Stream Team” March 12.
The training will be 6-8 p.m. at the Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus.
Join organizers for a specialized training session designed for volunteers focused on maintaining riparian buffer plantings.
Riparian buffers play a critical role in protecting water quality, preventing erosion and supporting wildlife habitats.
The event is open to all. No prior experience is required.
Participants should wear comfortable outdoor clothing, sturdy closed-toed shoes and bring work gloves. Bring a notebook or device for notes.
