Mary L. George, 82, of Emmaus, died Feb. 2, 2025, in the Phoebe Home. She was the wife of the late Norman P. “Ted” George. Born in Kutztown, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Grace A. (Meitzler) Trumbauer.

She co-owned George’s Greenhouse in Emmaus from 1962 until retiring in 2018.

She was a former member of the Emmaus Ambulance Corps, Emmaus Nest of Owls and Soroptimist Club of Emmaus. She was also a member of the Emmaus Historical Society.

She is survived by her son, Russ A. and his wife, Christine, of Macungie; grandchildren, Matthew and Brianna. She was predeceased by a son, Lee P.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
