The VFW will host concerts by Kerrie and Pete Duo Feb. 14, Alias Feb. 15, Chelsea Lyn Meyer Feb. 21, Third Hand Band Feb. 22 and Nite Flyte Feb. 28. The concerts begin 7:30 p.m.

The VFW auxiliary is accepting applications for continuing education scholarships until Feb. 15. Auxiliary members, their spouses or children ages 21 and older may apply for a $1,250 scholarship to be used toward education and related expenses at a college or vocational/technical school.

Laurel Fire Company, 5114 Third St., Cementon, will host several events in February and March. Pick up tickets at the bar for the club’s Feb. 16 Daytona party. The event will include raffles, 50/50 drawings, prizes, refreshments and a great time watching the race.

Indulge in an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet Feb. 23.

The Cruise-A-Matics will perform 7-10 p.m. during the March 15 St. Patty’s Day party.
