The Nisky Hill hill

was sun-bright,

cloud-crowned,

winter-crisp,

pure-aired

at noonish today,

and I heard,

he who was Boswell

to her Samuel Johnson

for almost

four delightful decades,

I heard,

“You’re such a wonderful listener,

even when I’m NOT talking.”
