EHS names student of the week
Q. In what grade are you currently enrolled?
A. I am currently in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.
Q. Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.
A. My mother’s name is Anjie, my father’s name is Gregg, I have an older brother named Owen and a younger sister named Lily.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. My favorite subject to study in school is history because I am intrigued by our past and I believe it is important to learn about what has shaped our world.
Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A. I have received recognitions from National Honor Society and I have also recently been invited to participate in All-County Band.
Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has being involved in these organizations impacted your high school experience?
A. I am involved in marching band, Model UN and the academic team at Emmaus. These activities have helped me to meet new students I would have otherwise never got to know and has helped me to be more involved in the school community.
Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?
A. The biggest challenge I have faced is balancing my different academic and personal interests.
Q. What is your next goal after high school?
A. After high school, I want to study history in college and then attend law school.
Q. If you could spend an evening conversing with an historically significant person, whom would you choose? Why?
A. One historical figure I would love to have a conversation with would be Walt Disney. I really want to know how he came up with his characters and what motivated him to continue even after his initial failures.
Q. For what would you like to be remembered?
A. I want to be remembered as someone who made a positive impact on the community.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. My advice to my peers is to always keep a positive outlook on every situation and trust everything will be OK.
