Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Mass., has announced that Stephanie Dean, of Coplay, a member of the Class of 2025 majoring in civil engineering, was named to the university’s dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2024 semester.

The criteria for the dean’s list differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average.

Instead, WPI students are named to the dean’s list based on the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and hands-on projects.
