Richard T. Ortelli, 88, of Northampton and formerly of Allentown, died Jan. 25, 2025. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth A. Ortelli (Reimer) for 63 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John B. and Margaret A. (Ziegler) Ortelli.

He was a 1953 graduate of William Allen High School.

He was a co-owner with his brothers at Reliable Auto Body in Allentown for all his working career.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and was a former member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, both in Allentown.

He was a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the former Italian Club in Allentown.

He is survived by a son, Ric and wife Pat of Northampton; siblings-in-law; nieces and nephews; and extended family on both sides.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Albert and John A.
