Northampton Fire Department, 4 Lerchenmiller Drive, is hosting a breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Feb. 16.

Volunteers will be serving eggs, cheesy eggs, plain or blueberry pancakes, sausage gravy on biscuits, sausage, pork roll, scrapple, tater tots and toast, as well as coffee and other beverages for varying costs for children, adults and seniors.

Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will meet Feb. 12 in the Atlas Room at Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave. The doors open 11 a.m.

All members and prospective members are cordially invited to attend. Membership dues are to be paid at the February meeting.

Members, please bring your favorite cake, cupcakes or cookies for our refreshment table.

If there is inclement weather and NASD is closed or has a late start, there will not be a meeting.

The Friends of Northampton Area Public Library group is currently having two fundraisers.

The first is a raffle for a basket of winter goodies, and the winning ticket may tentatively be drawn Feb. 13. The second is cash lottery fundraiser tickets, each of which has four numbers that may coincide with numbers drawn by the Pennsylvania Lottery 7 p.m. Pick 3 drawing.

Purchase tickets now to join the fun and try your luck — for a good cause!

Northampton Area School District community education is offering Dance It Out, a fun, high-energy, cardio and strength workout for all fitness levels. Jennifer Stoudt is the instructor.

The class will be held 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Feb. 26 in the multipurpose room at Siegfried Elementary.

Bring water and optional 1- to 3-pound dumbbells.

You can preregister or just drop in for a fee.
