Jeffrey John Karo, 76, of Whitehall, died Jan. 30, 2025. He was the husband of Patricia Karo for 52 years.

Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Gisella and Joseph Leonard, of Coplay.

He graduated from Whitehall High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J.

His professional career focused on industrial sales in graphite for several companies.

He played first and second base for the Coplay Legion, Whitehall High School and Rider University baseball teams. He coached Hokey baseball.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Christine Julia; a son, Jeffrey Patrick with Bridget; and six grandchildren, Keegan Dean, Ava Grace, Evan Patrick, Braden James, Ronan Jonathan and Brynn Elizabeth.

He was predeceased by a son, Jonathan Andrew.

There will be a calling time 5-7 p.m. Feb. 6 at the funeral home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Feb. 7 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay, 18037.
