Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., is holding a Souper Bowl of Caring service Feb. 9. Wear your favorite team gear and colors, and bring some cash to toss into the soup pots as you leave worship that day.

This is the 26th year Holy Trinity’s youth have hosted the Souper Bowl collection. It’s a great opportunity for Holy Trinity’s younger kids to support an event.

The church needs youth of any age to hold the soup pots to receive your generous donations. Call or text Diane Czar to be part of this Sunday morning effort.

Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St., will be holding a breakfast 8-11 a.m. Feb. 9. Come out for all your favorites and order right off the menu. All are welcome!

Note: These breakfasts are now being held the second Sunday of the month.

Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will be holding a soup, salad and sweets event 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 15. There are separate prices for the all-you-can-eat dine-in service and for takeout.

There will be a variety of soups, salad with choice of dressing and a table full of sweets. Assorted beverages will also be served.
