Swimming team sweeps ESN
The Whitehall swimming teams had a great effort in a meet with East Stroudsburg North on Tuesday afternoon.
The girls were 116-38 winners while the boys won 92-76.
All three girls relay teams took first place.
The 200 medley relay team had a winning time of 2:17.83. Members of the team were Ryann Giedl, Kendall Bashore, Kyra Giedl and Gia Chhetri. The 200 free relay team also took first with a time of 2:04.28. That team was made up of Ryann Giedl, Kyra Giedl, Bashore and Teairah Hawkins.
The 400 free relay team won as well, touching first in 4:54.34. That team was made up of Chhetri, Kyra Giedl, Ryann Giedl and Greta O’Brien.
O’Brien also had two individual firsts in the meet, taking the top spot in the 200 free with a time of 2:15.89. She also took first in the 100 back with a time of 1:12.78.
Bashore was also a double-winner on the day. She won the 200 IM with a time of 2:26.13 and also took the 100 free in 1:00.50.
Kyra Giedl was first in the 50 free in 29.34. Jenna Giedl won the 500 free with a time of 6:33.16.

For the boys, they captured two of three relay events. The 200 free relay team took first with a time of 1:55.14. The team was made up of Zukhar Salamakha, Anthony Blook, Gary Marucci and Johnny Stinner.
The 400 free relay team won with a time of 4:23.30. Justin George, Cameron Herring, Nathan Dease and Griffin Werner were members of that team.
Stinner was a double-winner for the boys, taking the 200 free with a time of 2:05.11. Stinner also took the 500 free with a time of 5:57.29.
Cameron Herring won the 50 free in 24.75 and Justin George won the 100 free in 1:04.21.
