Liberty and Freedom’s swim teams faced Emmaus and Parkland, respectively, and despite losses for the Bethlehem teams, the Hurricanes and Patriots had several first-place finishes on Jan. 21.
Top performers for Liberty included David Gabrielle, Adam Barlow, Logan Malozi, and Everett Collins in the 200 medley relay (1:42.99), Leah Onia in the 200 IM (2:25.77) and Barlow in the 200 IM (2:03.09), Audrey Bloss-Ferry in the 100 butterfly (1:03.17) and Gabrielle in the 100 fly (52.43), Bloss-Ferry in the 100 backstroke (1:06.33), and Barlow in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.49).
Liberty’s Jaxson Dorsey won the diving event with a score of 192.10.
Top performers for Freedom were Griffin Kleinle in the 200 freestyle (2:14.45) and Alivia Deemer in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.86).
Freedom’s Hayden Taylor won the girls diving event with a score of 288.60, and Cody Smith won the boys diving event with a score of 318.95.
Next week, Freedom will host Liberty on Feb. 3.
