The Catasauqua Youth Athletic Association will be hosting baseball and softball sign-ups 9 a.m.-noon Feb. 1 at the field house, 890 Walnut St.

Support local Girl Scouts by purchasing cookies 9:30-11:30 a.m. Feb. 2 and March 9 at Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., Catasauqua.

Catasauqua Area School District has an early dismissal Feb. 5. Sheckler Elementary School students will be dismissed 1:30 p.m.

CASD Board of Education will next meet 7-8:30 p.m. Feb. 11 in the district administration office, 201 N. 14th St.

There will be no classes Feb. 14-17 for the Presidents Day holiday.

Registration for Catasauqua Youth Soccer Association’s spring session of soccer is now open until the end of February. New players who did not play in the fall are still encouraged to sign up.
Players who have already played on a CYSA team are still required to register with a no-cost option at checkout.
