Moore Township: Support Eagle Scout project

Moore Township resident and Scout Damien Weist is raising funds for his Eagle Scout project by selling memorial bricks. His project is a memorial at American Legion Eckley E. Patch Post 470.

Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board’s next meeting is 7 p.m. Feb. 10 at the municipal building.

The township recreation committee next meets 7 p.m. Feb. 13 at the municipal building. The committee works to assist township children and families. Consider supporting the group’s important work or joining the committee.

The township recreation committee is providing an opportunity to purchase a brick for the veterans memorial at the recreation center.

Moore Township is seeking to fill the following vacancies — historical commission: one person for a five-year term; and Americans with Disabilities Act committee: three people with a one-year term.

Bingo is played 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Department, 2718 Mountain View Drive. Doors open 5 p.m.

Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, 696 Johnson Road, Moorestown, hosts Scout Troop 74 meetings 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the social hall. Scouts is for boys and girls 10 years old and up.
