Linda A. Lakatosh, 67, of Slatington, died on Jan. 24, 2025, surrounded by her daughters, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born Sept. 6, 1957, in Allentown, she was the daughter of Eleanor L. (Metzger) Lakatosh of Slatington and the late Robert A. Lakatosh.

A store accountant for Giant Food Stores for many years, she was a former Girl Scout leader and music booster mom, always lending a hand wherever possible and always supporting others.

She was a member of United Church of Christ, Greenawalds.

Her survivors include daughters, Lena A. Reinert of Pen Argyl, and Kristen R. Vogt of East Texas; siblings Sandra Lakatosh of Bethlehem, Susan Borger (Ray) of Whitehall, Diane Molchany (Tony) of Whitehall, and Scott Lakatosh of Slatington; and grandchildren Sarah Leibenguth, and Aiden and Kaelyn Reinert, all of Pen Argyl.

Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. Feb. 1 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., with the Rev. Janet Newett officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

Her family requests colorful attire be worn for the service.
