A total of 1,771 students have been named to the dean’s list at East Stroudsburg University for the fall 2024 semester of the 2024-25 academic year, as announced by Margaret Ball, D.M.A., the university’s provost and vice president for academic affairs.

East Stroudsburg University, a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, opened in 1893 as East Stroudsburg Normal School. Today, ESU is a comprehensive university in northeastern Pennsylvania offering 49 undergraduate programs, 20 master’s programs and two doctoral programs.

Alvernia University

Lu, Faulkner named to dean’s list

Joyce Lu, of Whitehall, and Abigail Faulkner, of Bath, are among 765 students to earn the honor of being named to Alvernia University’s dean’s list for the fall 2024 semester. To be eligible for this honor, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits.

Lu is majoring in athletic training, and Faulkner is majoring in early childhood (PreK-4)

Hofstra University

Apple, Wilmott earn dean’s list

Lexi Apple, of Northampton, and Ryleigh Wilmott, of Whitehall, excelled during the fall 2024 semester at Hofstra, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the dean’s list. Apple’s major is psychology, and Wilmott’s major is criminology.
