Barbara Ann (Saeger) Rupp, 88, of Macungie, died Jan. 19, 2025, at Luther Crest Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late William J. Rupp Jr. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Earle A.D. and Hallie C. (Snyder) Saeger.

She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, Alburtis. Before retiring, she taught elementary education at various school districts as well as assisted in the office of her husband’s business, Bill Rupp State Farm Insurance Co.

She was a member of the Lower Macungie Historical Society, the Macungie Institute and the Shelter House Society, Emmaus.

She will be remembered for her love of travel and being an avid gardener. She especially loved time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Catherine and her husband, Eric Holm, of Kutztown; grandchildren, Mason, of Kutztown, Madelin, of West Palm Beach, Fla., Jennifer, of Halifax, Nova Scotia; great-granddaughters, Carleigh, of Halifax, Kendall, of Sydney, Nova Scotia; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Marian Whitner.
