Wency Torres, 74, of Allentown, died Jan. 15, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Felicita Torres. He was the husband of Maria Teresa Renza Torres for 38 years.

He was the owner and operator of Guayanilla Auto Shop, Bethlehem, for many years.

He was a member of Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International, Bethlehem.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children and in-laws Jessica Torres, Wendy Torres, Helen Torres, Julian Holguin, Wency Torres, Cynthia Torres, Edwin Liggon (son-in- law), Theresa O’Brien and Tyler O’Brien (son-in-law); two sisters, Helen Maldonado and Luz S. Feliciano; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Edwin Torres and Armando Maldonaldo.

Arrangements were made by Connell Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
