Tallarico ends 20 years with Authority

The end of 2024 marks the end of John Tallarico’s 20 years of dedicated service to the Bethlehem Authority and the City of Bethlehem. Mayor William Reynolds and Councilman Brian Callahan joined the Authority at its Dec. 12 regular meeting, Tallarico’s last, to recognize his years working on behalf of the Bethlehem’s residents. Tallarico also served on the city’s Parking Authority board for several years before joining the Authority.

Tallarico joined the Authority board in April of 2004, having been appointed by then Mayor John Callahan. His tenure on the Authority board included six years as the Board Chairman.

His many years on the board saw a marked improvement in the Authority’s operation, administration and finances, much of it the result of his leadership.

While John is retiring from the Authority, he will remain busy in various business ventures in and around the city as well as spending more time with his family and two grandchildren.
