Phyllis L. Gusick, 78, formerly of Slatington, died on Jan. 11, 2025, surrounded by loved ones in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

She and her husband, Martin P. Gusick, were married for 57 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Lynnwood Zellner and Virginia M. (Knoll) Howell.

A 1964 graduate of the Slatington High School, she was a longtime volunteer with Slatington Ambulance Corps.

Starting as a teller, she worked her way up to branch manager at Citizens National Bank of Slatington and held that position for many years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Richard Gusick (Kristin) of West Chester and Thomas Gusick (Holly) of Fogelsville; sister Nancy Ziegler (Michael) of Allentown; and grandchildren Anika, Martin, Henry and Emma.

Her memorial service will take place 11 a.m. Feb. 1 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Interment will be private.
