Freedom’s swim team returned home from the Poconos with two victories over Pocono Mountain West on Jan. 14, 120-44 (girls), and 103-65 (boys).
Alexia Ragab, Alivia Deemer, Sofia Nabyt, and Laney Stewart won a tight race in the 200 medley relay (2:58.63).
Asa Lawser, Ben Rader, Micah Lawser, and Griffin Kleinle also pulled out a close win in the medley relay (1:58.75).
Chloe Levin clocked the top time in the 200 freestyle (2:25.46) as well as Kleinle (202.70). The Patriot pair also won the 500 free (6:42.49 and 5:44.07).
Laney Stewart took first place in the 200 IM (2:34.38).
Deemer and Micah Lawser won the 50 free (26.29 and 24.67).
Nabyt came in first in the 100 butterfly (1:12.50) as well as Micah Lawser (1:00.36).
Daisy Stewart won the 100 free (1:06.61), and Aiden Schankel won the same event (59.00).
Nabyt, Daisy Stewart, Levin, and Kaylee Buglino swam to a first-place finish in the 200 free relay (2:00.78).
Ragab was first in the 100 backstroke (1:13.52), and Deemer took first place in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.17).
In the final events of the night, the Patriots won both 400 free relays with Sequoia Searfass, Lilianna Moore, Marissa Phalen, and Levin (4:25.21) and Kleinle, Cristian Urena, Antonios Tatakis, and Micah Lawser (3:57.31).
Freedom’s swimmers will host Emmaus on Jan. 28.
