John R. Worman, 71, of New Ringgold, died Jan. 13, 2025, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife, Beth A. (Goodrich) Worman, were married more than 33 years.

Born in Wilson Borough, he was the son of the late Maynard F. and Ruth I. (Supplee) Worman.

A 1971 graduate of Wilson Borough High School, Easton, he graduated magna cum laude from Nyack College, New York.

He earned a certificate of ministry from D.O.V.E. Christian Fellowship International, Lititz.

He was a media director for the Blue Mountain Christian Retreat, New Ringgold, for the past 34 years.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his son Joshua D. (Valerie Lawson) Worman of New Ringgold; daughter Anna R. Worman at home; grandson Atreus Worman; and brother David A. Worman of New Ringgold.

A private graveside service will be held at Jacob’s Union Cemetery, New Tripoli.

Pastor Jim Shade will officiate.

There will be a public celebration of life service 7 p.m. Feb. 21 at Blue Mountain Christian Retreat, 1 Christian Lane, New Ringgold.

Visitation from 6 p.m. until the service.
