Whitehall Township Public Library: New library storytimes planned for one Saturday each month

A new Saturday storytime is opening up to allow working parents to attend. It will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 25, Feb. 15 and March 1.

Registration is required.

The library shows a free movie every month 6 p.m. The next one will be Jan. 29.

We have an adult winter reading program set for January through March. During that time, you can pick up your winter reading bookmark.

Complete the bookmark to receive a prize!

The library has a number of clubs that meet monthly.

The book club for adults meets 1 p.m. the first Thursday of every month. Come discuss what you’re currently reading.

The coloring club for adults meets 11 a.m. the first and third Thursdays and 5:30-7:30 p.m. the first Tuesday.

The Good Yarn group meets for knitting, crocheting and other needle crafts 6 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month.

Teens interested in volunteering can join the Teen Advisory Board. The next meeting will be 1:30 p.m. Feb. 15.

The library’s regular hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
