Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering needs a specialized volunteer to help with various email communications. The volunteer should have working knowledge and experience with email clients (specifically Mail Chimp), various social media platforms, WordPress and should expect to work 1-2 hours per week with various tasks either in a team environment or independently. Flint Hill Farm Educational Center in Coopersburg is both an educational center and a dairy. Over the past nine years, the dairy has successfully carried 50% of the center’s working budget. We are seeking a dedicated person who would commit to milking one or both Wednesday or Friday mornings. We will train so you are comfortable working with the cows. Become a hunger hero with Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley by delivering from one of eight pickup locations throughout the Valley; shifts start between 10-10:30 a.m. and take 60 to 90 minutes to complete. Deliver on your own or with a friend, family member (minimum age is 10 years) or co-worker. Instructions and training provided; application and background check required. Seeking energetic, dynamic volunteers to perform as TeleBear for PBS39 & 91.3 WLVR at community events and in-school appearances. Appearances may take place on weekdays, weekends or occasional evenings. Mascot actors must be at least 5 feet, 3 inches tall and comfortable in the apple costume for 20-30 minutes at a time. In search of individuals who are enthusiastic about sharing their musical gifts with the Phoebe Allentown Nursing Home community. We would be thrilled to have you perform tailored to your availability. We embrace all types of musical performances, from vocal and piano to violin and harmonica. Volunteers are needed for St. Luke’s University Health Network gift shops at various campus locations throughout the Lehigh Valley. St. Luke’s volunteers help the patients, visitors and staff.
